2008 Alice in Wonderland & Dance ’08

I’d like to thank everyone involved as it would not have been possible without the help of dressers backstage, helpers front of house, costume designers, lighting technicians, stage managers, ticket sellers & all my teachers.

Everyone helped out for a smooth running and wonderful concert. Daisy Sonter-Kelso danced the comical part of ‘The Queen of Hearts.’ Alice was played by Eliza Newmarch, The Caterpillar by Erin Longhurst, The White Rabbit by Vanessa Hunt.

The show was a huge success with over 1500 people watching the show over the week.

A young girl’s larger than life dream journey

in a world of imagination, mystery and mayhem.

Come with Alice on a magical adventure as she tumbles into

    Wonderland!

Alice is guided by the playful White Rabbit who continually mutters.

    ‘I’m Late’

    ‘I’m Late’

    ‘For a very important date’.

Along the way she meets an astonishing cast of characters, animals and creatures and has a crazy tea –party with the Mad Hatter, March Hare and their friends.

She meets the Cranky Caterpillar, the Mysterious Cheshire Cat and gets confused by those mischievous twins, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

In the magical Garden she sings with the living Flowers.

While trying to find her way home she finds herself in the company of the Queen of Hearts where the King, Flamingos, Hedgehogs and the army of Cards put on a strange game of croquet.

    Finally

Alice wakes happy to find that she is safe at home.
