Another huge success performing to three full house public performances and three full house school performances.
Congratulations to all the talented students. The ‘Fairy Godmother’ was danced by Daisy Sonter-Kelso. Cinderella by Gaby Potbury, Mother by Holly Bloch, The stepsisters by Bethany Wiedeman and Lauren WIlliams.
When Cinderella’s Father dies, she is left with her two evil stepsisters and her wicked stepmother who turns her into a virtual servant in her own house.
Meanwhile, across town in the castle, the King determines that his son, the Prince, should find a suitable bride.
So, the King invites every eligible maiden in the kingdom to a fancy dress ball, where his son will be able to choose his bride.
Cinderella has no suitable party dress for a ball, but her friends the mice and the birds lend a hand in making her one, but of course the evil stepsisters tear it apart the evening of the ball.
At this point, enter the Fairy Godmother, the carriage, the royal ball, the stroke of midnight and the glass slipper.
And the rest, as they say, is fairy tale history.
