Former students have excelled in dance and have now moved on to further study dance.
Daisy Sonter-Kelso – Studying full time at RAW Dance in Brisbane since January 2010. Dancers participate in Hip Hop, Technical Jazz, Break, Popping, Locking, Contemporary, Funk Tap, Acrobatics, Afro Jazz, Swing, Samba, Yoga, Pilates and Strength Training. Dancers will also be lectured in Body Management, Performance, Business and becoming a Dance Teacher. Daisy continued her dance studies during 2011 and 2012 in Brisbance. In December 2012 Daisy secured a 6 month contract on the cruise ship SuperStar Virgo, Star Cruises.
Hollie Bloch – Studying full time atRAW Dance in Brisbane since January 2010. Dancers participate in Hip Hop, Technical Jazz, Break, Popping, Locking, Contemporary, Funk Tap, Acrobatics, Afro Jazz, Swing, Samba, Yoga, Pilates and Strength Training. Dancers will also be lectured in Body Management, Performance, Business and becoming a Dance Teacher. Hollie worked in 2011-2012 with MAD, Bribance. She is continuing to work with MAD and is now also connect to the Brisbane Broco Cheerleaders.
Sarah Ashton – Studying at Newtown Performing Arts School – Sydney since February 2009. Combining school studies with dance.
Rikki Mason – Studying at ADPI in Brisbane since January 2008. Has been accepted to study at ecole Atelier Rudra Bejart in Lausanne, Switzerland. This school majors in Contemporary dance combined with Martial Arts and Aerial. Rikki has now taken up his studies. (September 2009) Auditioning for Sydney Dance Company in July 2010. Rikki performed with Lucid Dance based in Brisbane before taking up a position with Bangarra in 2004.
Steve Williams – Studying at Newtown Performing Arts School – Sydney since February 2009. Combining school studies with dance. Steve has since gone on to travel to Europe and furthering his dance.
Philippa Wiedemann – Studied at QUT Brisbane– Graduating with Bachelor of Creative Industries (Dance) – Worked on Cruise ships. Now teaching Jazz and Contemporary at Craze Dance Academy (2010). Philippa has since gone on to study to become a high school dance teacher.
Kymberleigh Cowley – After being a student at Craze Dance Academy for several years she is now studying at McDonald College, Sydney. Combining school studies with full time dance. Finalist in McDonald’s Performing Arts Challenge 2009 Ballet Scholarship. Kymberleigh studied at The English National Ballet School and has since had a short contract with The English National Ballet as a swan in Swan Lake. She was contracted to The Vienna Festival Ballet in their season of ‘Snow White’, before returning to Australian and performing in Western Australian Ballet.
