We know that all children love to have Bedtime Stories read to them at night before going to sleep.

Our story begins with a mother reading to her two young daughters.  Normally the story is told in words and pictures but our story will come to life out of the book and onto the stage.

We hope you enjoy these stories told in dance.

    Hansel and Gretel

Once upon a time a very poor woodcutter lived in a tiny cottage in the forest with his two children, Hansel and Gretel. His second wife often ill-treated the children.  After going into the woods they were met by the witch who tried to capture them.  Hansel and Gretel managed to get free and find there way home.

    The Pied Piper

The people of Hamelin, overrun with rats, offer a bag of gold to anyone who can get rid of the rats. A piper offers to do the job, and successfully lures the rats away.

The citizens, disappointed that all he did was play a tune, offer only pocket change. The piper, angered, plays a new tune that has all the children of the city follow him.

    Little Red Riding Hood

The story is about a lovely sweet girl who is loved by one and all. Everyone calls the girl Little Red Riding Hood as she always wears a riding hood made of red velvet, which was gifted to her by her grandmother.
One fine day, Little Red Riding Hood’s mother packs a basket and asks her to take it to her sick grandmother. Before she leaves, her mother warns her not to talk to anyone on the way. Little Red Riding Hood promises her that she wouldn’t and sets off to her grandmother’s place.
When Little Red Riding Hood enters the forest, she comes across a wolf, who plans to eat her up. So when the wolf asks her where she is off to, she answers him that she is on her way to see her grandmother, without suspecting the wolf.

The wolf tries to be her grandmother, but they realise and her father fights the wolf and wins and they all live happily ever after.
